Linked Data for Model-Based Systems Engineering (ld4mbse)

Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) is an initiative to specify a uniform architecture and open standards for tool integrations based on the World Wide Web. The Web has proven to be scalable, easily extensible, simple, and reliable. The success of the Web is based in part on its hardware- and software-independence. It relies on standardized resource formats (e.g. HTML) and protocols for accessing resources (e.g. HTTP) whereby anyone can access any web page using any browser on any device. OSLC has adopted a similar approach for tool integration by standardizing the representation of shared resources and information transfer protocols and not on internal details of the tools themselves. OSLC takes advantage of the Web infrastructure and the Semantic Web by reusing several concepts including Linked Data, and RESTful Web services.

The goal of this project is to build OSLC-compliant tools for the integration of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.
